Skelwith Fold is set in the heart of the Lake District National Park and boasts magnificent views of the Langdale Pikes.
A fabulous base from which to explore the Lake District and its many interesting attractions, Skelwith Fold is just a short distance from both Ambleside and Hawkshead, with their many shops, boutiques, cafes, pubs and restaurants.
How to Find Us
Leave M6 at junction 36 heading for Kendal and the Lake District. (A591)
Continue to roundabout and take 2nd exit (straight accross) heading for Windermere and Ambleside. (A591)
Continue until you reach Waterhead traffic lights near Ambleside and turn left (A5075) beside the lake heading for Coniston and Hawkshead.
You will approach Rothay Manor Hotel. Turn left prior to the hotel and go over Rothay Bridge onto the A593. (This is a narrow bridge and care should be taken)
Take the first left turning at Clappersgate (B5286) heading towards Hawkshead. We are approximately 3/4 a mile along this road on the right, signed for Skelwith Fold Caravan Park.
