Halloween Event – Saturday 29th October
This year we are hosting our Halloween event on Saturday 29th October at the Top Field, to create an evening of frightful fun and grizzly games for all ages.
We will start the evening with a freaky forest walk through the Skelwith woodland, where you will encounter glowing pumpkins, screaming ghouls and friendly ghosts. Then you can enjoy hot food, live music from The RagTag Misfits, and Halloween themed games. We will also have a pop-up shop at the venue for refreshments, and you will be able to stock up for the winter on delicious local produce.
We will also be running two competitions, a costume competition on the night of the 29th, and a pumpkin carving competition in the run-up to the main event. We will be selling pumpkins at the park shop from the 26th, which when purchased will enter you into the competition. Judging will be held in the afternoon of the 29th in the function room, so come along to help decide the winners! Once complete, the pumpkins will be taken up to be featured in the forest walk for everyone to enjoy.
So come and join us for the weekend to partake in the festivities, and possibly win some prizes!
