Set in 130 acres of glorious woodland, at the heart of the Lake District National Park.

Apply for the position of a Guest Relations
and Retail Assistant 2018

We are now seeking individuals who would like to join our team ready for the start of the 2018 season. We are looking for someone with a pleasant disposition and a positive attitude, who would enjoy welcoming visitors to the park and share an appreciation of the stunning location. The role would be ideally suited to a proactive individual looking to further their career in a growing and vibrant sector of the holiday industry, and may provide other opportunities within the business.
Working within our green roof amenity building which houses a reception, shop, offices and function room and plays a central role in the community of the park.

Responsibilities and Duties:
Welcoming guests and visitors, providing information and coordinating with the rest of the team to ensure their stay is enjoyable. Our employees are expected to take ownership of enquires, situations that arise, and using our service standards are encouraged to find the appropriate answer and act on it.
Servicing our retail outlet which provides local produce, fresh bread, groceries, beers and wines as well as gifts and maps. There may be an opportunity for someone with an eye for retail to help develop the offerings in our shop to suit our customers demographics and to develop more of a role in purchasing and stock control.
General admin, bookings and customer service, using our online booking system, telephones and radios.
Although the role is primarily as described, you would also be included in the diverse range of activities involved in running a busy holiday park, such as helping with events, shows and promotions.
Successful candidates will be welcomed as part of the team and will have the opportunity to join a great team working in a fantastic place.

Benefits:

An hourly wage of £8.00
Annual statutory holidays
Preferential rates within the retail outlet
Rota hours within a 7 day working week (through the season), to include weekends and bank holidays, covering opening hours 8.30am to 8pm.
